Randil Jeffreys

Through my company, RJ Visual Design, I’ve been involved in drill and show design for many years, designing for marching bands, indoor drumlines, and collegiate marching bands. Since 2015, I’ve taught at a large, private lesson studio in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, area, assisting performing ensembles across the country and working as a drill designer.

Additionally, I’ve taught drum corps with the Colt Cadets as a Brass/Visual Caption Head and worked as a visual instructor and Assistant Caption Head with The Cavaliers. I was also a performing member of The Cavaliers from 2003 until 2008.

Most recently, I was named Visual Caption Head at Music City Drum and Bugle Corps. I’m also an active adjudicator and clinician.

Yonge Developmental Research School; California University of Pennsylvania; The Colt Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps; The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps; Music City Drum & Bugle Corps; Arvada West High School (CO); Idaho Falls High School (ID); Las Vegas High School (NV); St. Xavier High School (OH); Century High School (OR), and Shadow Ridge Middle School (TX), as well as the following Texas high schools: Aldine, C. E. King High School Indoor Drumline, Clear Lake, Colleyville, Conroe, Grapevine, Heritage, Highland, Hillcrest, Magnolia, Oak Ridge, Plano East, and Wylie.

I am proudly associated with Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, the Texas Music Educators Association, the International Tuba Euphonium Association, the United States Marine Corps, and the Music City Drum and Bugle Corps.

In my leisure time, I love spending time with my beautiful wife, Emily, and our dog, Stitch. I’m also an avid obstacle course racer and trail runner.
