Overview
I am a visual designer and choreographer specializing in drill design, musician choreography, and color guard choreography. For more than 30 years I have worked with band directors across the country to bring their musical vision to life through thoughtful visual storytelling — creating productions tailored to the skill level of each ensemble and the goals of their staff.
My career in the marching arts began as a performer with the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps, where I aged out in 1991 when the corps won the DCI World Championship. I was selected by the corps director to represent Star in the 1991 All-Star Drum and Bugle Corps, performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
I have since designed, choreographed, and consulted for more than 350 scholastic and independent indoor and outdoor competitive groups nationwide. My designs have earned recognition in state and regional competitions across California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, and Wisconsin. From 2004 to 2006, I served as choreographer for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps and as their Program Coordinator in 2005.
