Overview
I am a drill designer, program coordinator, and band director with a background spanning middle school, high school, and collegiate music education. I currently serve as Assistant Director of Bands and Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at Western Carolina University, where I work with the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band.
My design work reaches programs across the country, from Florida to Hawaii, Texas to Illinois. I bring both an educational and aesthetic perspective to every show I design, drawing on years of experience as a working band director.
I serve on the visual staff of The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps and was named a 2024 Bluecoats Fellow with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. I am also an active adjudicator for middle school and high school music events.
Prior to Western Carolina, I served as Director of Bands and Performing Arts Department Chair at Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Missouri, and began my teaching career in Illinois.
