Jarrod Huntley

As the founder of Marching Network, I have more than 25 years of performing, judging, teaching, and designing experience in marching band, Winter Guard, and winter drums activity.

I’ve worked as a drill writer in Europe, Indonesia, Japan, and the United Kingdom, as well as in the United States Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia), earning various teaching and judging accolades. I’m also a regular adjudicator for both the fall and winter seasons and have judged competitions around the world.

For twenty years, I’ve worked with premier groups including The Cadets, the Blue Devils, Crossmen, and Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps, as well as the Momentum Winter Drumline. I’ve also worked with many nationally and internationally known groups in the United States and around the world, including Argyle, Flower Mound, Hebron, and Marcus high schools in Texas; Union High School in Oklahoma; Etiwanda and Vista Murrieta high schools in California; The Company Drum Corps in the United Kingdom; and Marching Band Bontang PKT in Indonesia. While I was Drill Designer for Marcus High School, the ensemble earned a UIL state championship. While I was Drill Writer for Hebron High School, the band earned a third-place BOA Nationals medal.

From 2004 to 2010, I served on the visual staff for the Blue Devils (19-time DCI champions) and served as Visual Caption Head from 2011 to 2013 for The Cadets (ten-time champions). In 2011, I helped lead The Cadets to a visual title and the Corps to its tenth DCI victory (its first victory in more than five years).

In 2014, I moved back to the Blue Devils’ visual staff, where I worked continuously through the 2018 season. In 2019, I accepted a new role as Visual Co-Caption Head for the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps and now serve as the full-time Visual Caption Head of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.
