Overview
I am a drill designer, visual educator, and adjudicator with more than 25 years of experience in the marching arts. As a performer, I earned nine DCI World Championships, and that foundation has driven everything I have built since. I am the founder of Marching Network and currently serve full-time as Visual Caption Head for the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.
My drum corps teaching career spans two decades with some of the most accomplished corps in the activity. I served on the visual staff of the Blue Devils from 2004 to 2010, then took on the role of Visual Caption Head for The Cadets from 2011 to 2013 — leading the corps to the Visual Title and their tenth DCI Championship in 2011.
I returned to the Blue Devils visual staff from 2014 through 2018 before joining the Bluecoats as Visual Co-Caption Head in 2019. Under my leadership as full-time Visual Caption Head, the Bluecoats have not placed below second at the DCI World Championships and have captured the High Visual Award twice, in 2024 and 2025.
As a drill designer, my work has reached programs across the United States, Europe, Japan, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. Notable credits include a UIL State Championship with Marcus High School and a BOA Grand Nationals bronze medal with Hebron High School.
I am also a regular adjudicator for both fall and winter seasons, judging premier events across the United States and around the world.

Design and teaching affiliations include The Cadets, Blue Devils, Bluecoats, Crossmen, and Momentum Indoor Percussion, as well as Argyle, Flower Mound, Hebron, Marcus, and Union high schools, Etiwanda and Vista Murrieta high schools in California, The Company Drum Corps in the United Kingdom, and Marching Band Bontang PKT in Indonesia.
