Conrad Isenhour

I am a marching arts instructor, choreographer, visual designer, and adjudicator with experience spanning high school marching bands, indoor percussion, and drum corps across Texas and the United States. I currently serve as Visual Caption Manager, Ensemble Manager, and choreographer for the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps, and as Visual Caption Manager, Rehearsal Coordinator, and Lead Choreographer for Rhythmic Force Percussion in Austin.

My approach to visual design emphasizes maximum effect through efficient, modern movement — a philosophy I have developed through years of training and mentorship alongside some of the most respected visual designers in the activity.

At the scholastic level, I have served as a visual and brass instructor, choreographer, and movement specialist for several high-achieving programs in Texas, including Westlake, Cedar Ridge, and Vandegrift high schools. Over more than a decade at Claudia Taylor "Lady Bird" Johnson High School in San Antonio, I helped build a program that grew into a BOA regional and super regional champion, a Grand National finalist, and a UIL State medalist and champion. I am proud to have been a staff member for three separate programs that have each earned at least one UIL 6A State medal.

As a co-creator of Marching Band Movement, an educational video course for teachers and students, I am committed to advancing movement training and literacy across the marching arts.
