Overview
As a nationally-awarded music educator with more than 30 years of experience in the Pageantry and Performing Arts, I have worked professionally in marching arts, concert band, orchestra, theater, musical theater, opera, choir, brass ensemble, and more. Consider me your “virtual” Assistant Director — because life is better with an assistant!
My professional experience includes drum corps arranging (Blue Stars, Carolina Gold, Gulf Coast Sound, Frontier, Masquerade, Memphis Sound, and Forte); marching band arranging for various NC schools as well as Adamson High School in Texas and Tarleton State University; drum corps instruction (Brass Caption Head for Blue Stars; Carolina Gold; and Frontier); current Brass Staff for Heat Wave (2021); adjudicator for U.S. bands (since 2001) and various other local and national circuits (marching, indoor, and concert).
I marched with Carolina Crown for four seasons; multiple DCA corps/mini corps/SoundSport; Carolina Gold, Gulf Coast Sound, Frontier, The Outlaws, Central Florida Sounds of Freedom, THAT!, and Brass Hysteria.
