Andy Lecture

I am a color guard educator and designer with more than a decade of experience in Winter Guard International as a participant, instructor, and designer. My background in education, music, and theater informs my approach to every program I serve — with a consistent focus on building performer confidence and showcasing the unique strengths of each ensemble.

My WGI experience includes an Open Class silver medal in 2015 and a World Class finalist placement in 2018 with Etude Winterguard. I currently serve as Director of Colorguard for the Paladin Regiment at Furman University, a position I have held since 2020. I have also served as Director of Color Guards at Riverside High School and as a technician at Mauldin High School.

My background includes two years of public school music instruction and five years working with students across the autism spectrum — experience that has deepened my ability to meet performers where they are and bring out their best.
